Constitution and Bylaws

Our constitution defines the purpose and objectives of our organization, who can be a member, the structure of our club, and how changes can be made to the organization and constitution. The bylaws describe how many functions of our organization shall proceed, including how meetings are run, how officers are elected, the duties of the various positions and committees in our organization, and how money can be spent. Our organization is democratic in nature – all members have an equal say in decisions affecting the club.

The Constitution of the Men’s Garden Club of Asheville was established on the 5th of May in 1964. It has been revised and approved by the membership numerous times since that date.
